Big Updates Across Ultra Web Hosting

Ultra Web Hosting Update

When you’ve been running a hosting company since 2002, you learn that the work is never really finished. Servers get faster, the web asks more of them, and the security side keeps you on your toes. Over the last few months we’ve spent a good amount of time updating the three places our customers spend the most time: our website, your client area, and your hosting control panel. Here’s a look at what’s new.

A new ultrawebhosting.com

The first thing you’ll probably notice is the website. We rebuilt the homepage and navigation with a cleaner, more modern design, including an animated hero that nods to what we do all day: moving data quickly and reliably.

It’s not just about the look, though. The new site is faster and easier to get around, whether you’re on a desktop or your phone. Plans, features, and support resources are where you’d expect to find them, and we’ve reworked the underlying structure so the pages you’re after are easier to turn up in search, too.

A refreshed client area and a proper Knowledge Base

Your client area is where the everyday stuff happens, like billing, support tickets, and managing your account, so we gave it a tidy-up to match. It’s cleaner, clearer, and a bit easier to navigate.

The part we’re most excited about is the rebuilt Knowledge Base. We restyled and reorganized the whole library, which now covers 360+ articles on everything from setting up email and managing DNS to securing WordPress and sorting out common issues. If you’ve ever wanted to solve something late at night without opening a ticket, this should help. And if you do open a ticket, you’ll still reach an actual person who knows your account.

Faster, more functional control panel

Some of the bigger changes are the ones you can’t see. Your cPanel control panel now uses a modern, redesigned interface that’s a little more intuitive to work with, especially on mobile.

We’ve also added some meaningful performance and security improvements:

– Built-in performance caching (object caching and full-page acceleration) that helps WordPress and other dynamic sites load noticeably faster, with less setup on your end.

– Improved malware protection that scans, detects, and cleans threats, backed by a hardened firewall, to help keep your site online and your visitors safe.

These are the kinds of things you mostly won’t notice day to day, which is sort of the point. They quietly keep your sites quick and your account protected.

Same team, same approach

We’re still answering our own support tickets. These updates are all about making things smoother, faster, and safer, without changing the parts that have kept folks with us for two decades.

Feel free to log in and look around. If you run into anything or just have some feedback, we’d really like to hear it. Open a ticket or drop us a line anytime.
