Now Accepting ACH Payments, Plus a Friendlier Credit Card Experience
We are excited to announce two improvements to billing at Ultra Web Hosting. First, we now accept ACH bank payments, so you can pay your hosting invoices directly from your checking or savings account, no credit card required. Second, we have made paying by credit card smoother and more helpful than ever.
What is ACH?
ACH (Automated Clearing House) is the same secure bank-to-bank network used for direct deposit and online bill pay. Instead of running a card, you connect your bank account once and pay invoices with a simple e-check transfer.
Why pay by ACH?
- No card needed. Pay directly from your business or personal bank account.
- Great for larger invoices. ACH is a convenient option for reseller, VPS, and dedicated server plans.
- No expiring cards. Skip the failed-payment scramble every time a card expires or gets reissued.
- Bank-grade security. Payments are processed through our Intuit QuickBooks Payments integration, so your account details are tokenized and never stored on our servers in plain text.
- Same account, same billing. ACH sits right alongside your existing payment methods in the client area.
How to pay by ACH
- Log in to your account at my.ultrawebhosting.com.
- Go to your billing or payment methods area.
- Choose the bank account (ACH / e-check) option and enter your routing and account numbers.
- Save it as a payment method or use it to pay an open invoice.
That is it. Your bank payment is submitted securely and reconciled to your account automatically.
A friendlier credit card experience
We know card payments can be frustrating when something goes wrong, so we rebuilt how we handle them:
- Clear, helpful messages. If a card payment does not go through, you get a plain-English reason and exactly what to do next, instead of a vague error.
- Never get surprised by an expired card. We now send friendly reminder emails before a saved card is set to expire, so you have time to update it and avoid a missed renewal.
- Secure by design. Your card is tokenized through our Intuit QuickBooks Payments integration and stored on file for renewals, never kept in plain text on our servers.
