Website Improvements!
What We Have Been Working On This Week
We just wrapped up one of our busiest weeks in a while, and we wanted to share what we have been up to. Every improvement here is something you will actually notice the next time you visit our site, check the knowledge base, or see how fast your WordPress pages load.
Your WordPress Sites Just Got a Lot Faster
This is the big one. We deployed a brand new caching system across every shared hosting server in our fleet. For WordPress sites using WP Rocket or AccelerateWP, nginx now serves your cached pages directly from disk without ever touching PHP.
What does that mean in real numbers? Pages that used to take a few seconds to load now come back in about 140 milliseconds. That is essentially just the time it takes for your browser to establish a secure connection. Your visitors get a faster experience, and faster sites rank better on Google. It all happens automatically, and when you publish or update a post, the cache clears itself so your changes show up right away.
A Fresh Look Across the Website
We gave ultrawebhosting.com a serious refresh. Nearly every product page was rewritten and updated, including shared hosting, VPS, WordPress hosting, NGINX hosting, and dedicated servers. Each page now does a much better job of explaining what you actually get with your plan, with updated feature lists and FAQ sections that answer real questions.
We also refreshed the About, Testimonials, Support, Price Guarantee, and Refund Policy pages with modern layouts and more useful content. A mobile navigation bug that was breaking tabbed content on phones has been fixed, and we trimmed our main stylesheet nearly in half to help pages load faster.
The domain registration page now pulls live pricing directly from our billing system, so what you see is always accurate.
Better Live Chat
We cleaned up our live chat experience on both the main site and the client portal. The chat window has a more polished look and feel, and reaching out to our team should feel smoother than before.
Over 300 Knowledge Base Articles Updated
Our knowledge base went through a complete overhaul. Every single article was reviewed and expanded, and we wrote 15 brand new guides on the topics you search for most:
- Setting up email on your iPhone or Android
- Installing WordPress
- Migrating your website from another host
- Configuring email in Outlook
- Setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication
- Recovering a hacked WordPress site
- A complete guide to .htaccess on Apache
Eighteen of our most important guides now feature a new professional styled layout that makes them much easier to follow. We also added four new categories to help you find what you need: htaccess and Redirects, Errors and Troubleshooting, SSL and HTTPS, and Website Tools and SEO.
Webmaster Tools Suite Updated
Our free webmaster tools at tools.ultrawebhosting.com got a major refresh. Over 40 tools were updated, and several that had broken over time were completely rebuilt.
The WHOIS Lookup and Website Uptime Checker both received brand new modern designs. And we built a completely new DNS Health Report tool that runs a full diagnostic on your domain, checking nameservers, mail records, SPF, DMARC, and HTTPS all at once. It is a great way to quickly spot configuration issues before they cause problems.

We are not done. More knowledge base articles, continued performance improvements, and additional site updates are all in progress. We have been building and running hosting infrastructure since 2002, and we are always looking for ways to make things better for the people who trust us with their websites.
