Network Downtime Information
We have had two issues with network connectivity on Tuesday, November 24th. The 1st being 20 minutes long at 12:59PM PST. The second being at 8:59PM PST and lasted approximately three hours. Our primary connection goes to a local building which has several network providers at that point. The issue occurred as a result of a buggy firmware update to the switch our connection goes to into that building. The switch has been thunked back to an older stable version.
There has been a couple outages in less than a year now with the new data center and they have been working to prevent such outages in the future. We understand the inconvenience and we are doing everything we can to get these problems ironed out. Again, we apologise for the downtime and we are presently investigating a local redundant connection through another provider into the data center for additional network redundancy and we will get this squared away as much as possible.
